RODEO SPORTS MEDICINE JOINS THE NRCHA AT THE SNAFFLE BIT FUTURITY®

The National Reined Cow Horse Association (NRCHA) will partner with Rodeo Sports Medicine to offer a complimentary onsite sports medicine team for competitors at the 2023 Snaffle Bit Futurity® presented by Metallic Cat.

Rodeo Sports Medicine is designed to offer specialized health concierge services to athletes at every level of competition in the Western industry.  Their licensed athletic trainers work with specialized physicians and healthcare services throughout Texas and surrounding states.

“Our team is excited to provide this level of sports medicine to the NRCHA and to keep the athlete first and foremost,” Jarod Root of Rodeo Sports Medicine said. “We are here for them; everyone on our team is well-versed in the Western lifestyle and culture.”

The Rodeo Sports Medicine trailer will be set up during the 2023 Snaffle Bit Futurity presented by Metallic Cat at the Will Rogers Memorial Complex in Fort Worth, Texas. All their services, including health assessments, injury prevention, and medical education, will be free to NRCHA contestants for the duration of the event.

“We are excited to be partnering with the Rodeo Sports Medicine team for the biggest premier event of the year,” Emily Konkel, NRCHA executive director, said. “For many years, the NRCHA has been able to offer exceptional onsite care for equine athletes, and we are thrilled to be able to extend that same level of care to our cowboys and cowgirls competing.”
