To become an NRCHA judge, applicants must attend an NRCHA Judges Seminar, complete the NRCHA Sixth Chair Judge Education Training, and successfully pass the NRCHA Judge Test administered upon completion of both educational programs. To keep the NRCHA judge card, a judge must attend a seminar every 3 years. For questions about judge education or becoming an NRCHA judge, please email programs@nrcha.com.

Many of our newer judges have asked for opportunities to sharpen their skills in a live setting with feedback and instruction from a higher rated judge. Because of this, NRCHA is proud to offer a 6th Chair Judge Education Training. A 6th Chair Judge Education Training is also now a requirement to become an NRCHA judge.
