Weatherford, Texas — Phillip Ralls has officially joined an elite group of competitors as an NRCHA Two Million Dollar Rider. The Paso Robles, California, horseman crossed the career milestone at the 2026 NHSA Pre-Futurity.
Ralls’ journey to more than $2 million in NRCHA earnings has been marked by success at the sport’s highest levels. Among his accomplishments are the 2023 World’s Greatest Horseman championship and the 2022 World’s Greatest Horseman reserve championship, both earned aboard Call Me Mitch. In 2025, Ralls added another major achievement to his record when he and Ive Been Everywhere claimed the NRCHA Stallion Stakes Open reserve championship title.
A defining partner throughout Ralls’ career has been Call Me Mitch, a stallion owned and shown by Ralls. Together, the pair earned some of reined cow horse’s most prestigious honors and helped establish a legacy that continues through the stallion’s offspring.
Call Me Mitch has amassed $446,514 in lifetime earnings with Ralls, while his progeny have earned more than $1.3 million to date. His influence, both in the show pen and as a sire, reflects the horsemanship and program Ralls has built throughout his career.
Reaching Two Million Dollar Rider status further establishes Ralls among the most accomplished horsemen in NRCHA history and recognizes years of consistency, dedication and success in the show pen.
“Reaching $2 million in earnings takes exceptional horsemanship,” said Patty Tiberg, NRCHA executive director. “Phillip’s accomplishments reflect that level of talent, and his partnership with Call Me Mitch has given our sport so many memorable moments. We’re proud to celebrate this milestone with him and everyone who has contributed to his success.”
The National Reined Cow Horse Association congratulates Phillip Ralls on this significant career achievement and celebrates his lasting contributions to the reined cow horse industry.
