Weatherford, Texas—The National Reined Cow Horse Association (NRCHA) proudly recognizes three breeders who crossed significant milestones in 2025: NRCHA Million Dollar Breeders Michelle Cannon and Taylor Carbo and NRCHA Three Million Dollar Breeder Wagonhound Land & Livestock.
Owner of Cannon Quarter Horses, Michelle Cannon has cemented her legacy in NRCHA by breeding outstanding stock that performs at the highest levels. Based in Waxahatchie, Texas, Cannon takes great pride in producing prospects for reined cow horse, reining and cutting that go on to outstanding performance careers. Her broodmare band is second to none, and she owns two stallions: Shiney Outlaw and Shiney Nu Nickle, both by 2009 NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity® Co-Champion Shiners Nickle.
In 2025, Cannon’s top performers included (as of August 17, 2025):
- Rey Mo Rebel (2020 stallion; Metallic Rebel x Mo Faye Rey x Dual Rey): $38,208.53.

It only took two NRCHA competitors to catapult Taylor Carbo onto the NRCHA Million Dollar Breeders list, but those two horses have left undeniable marks on the history of the sport. Primarily known as a non pro cutting competitor, Carbo is from Plaquemine, Louisiana.
The two stellar products from Carbo’s breeding endeavors include (as of August 17, 2025; NRCHA lifetime earnings):

The Douglas, Wyoming, Wagonhound Land & Livestock’s breeding program produces high-quality ranch horses for their own cowboys and for the public, but its proven producers go far beyond athletic, gritty using horses. The royal bloodlines owned by Wagonhound Land & Livestock routinely create champion reined cow horses, as well as those for cutting, reining and ranch competitions.
In 2025, Wagonhound Land & Livestock’s top performers included (as of August 17, 2025):
