The National Reined Cow Horse Association (NRCHA) proudly welcomes another impressive sire to its elite roster of Million Dollar Sires, Shiners Voodoo Dr (Shining Spark x Voodoo Chic x Smart Chic Olena).
The 2007 stallion, owned by Silver Spurs Equine of Scottsdale, Arizona, and bred by Rogers Heaven Sent Ranch LLC, has officially surpassed the $1,000,000 milestone through the success of his offspring in NRCHA competition.
“This is a very special moment for us because Voodoo is a very special stallion,” shared Michael Miola of Silver Spurs Equine. “We are incredibly proud of him and love him very much.”
Miola continued, “He is a perfect gentleman on the ranch, but in the breeding barn he is all business. Consistently producing offspring with exceptional minds, versatility, and athleticism. Not only is he now an NRCHA Million Dollar Sire, but he is also an NRHA Seven Million Dollar Sire and has sired multiple champions in ranch riding as well. Go Voodoo!”
Among his top-performing reined cow horse offspring are several standout individuals who have earned titles and top finishes at NRCHA premier events and beyond, further solidifying his impact as a leading sire in the industry:
- Little Miss Voodoo (2018 mare out of Lil Miss Rednic); 2022 NRCHA Stallion Stakes Reserve Open Champion; $120,457
- MPH Voodoo Badger (2018 gelding out of JRS Jessie Badger); Top 5 finisher at The American Performance Horseman and The Run For A Million Cow Horse Challenge; $118,965

“Reaching the Million Dollar Sire milestone is a remarkable achievement, and Shiners Voodoo Dr represents the kind of versatility and consistency that defines success in the reined cow horse industry,” said Emily Konkel, NRCHA Executive Director. “His influence is evident through the accomplishments of his offspring, and we are proud to recognize his impact on the sport.”
