Weatherford, Texas—The National Reined Cow Horse Association (NRCHA) proudly announces that Metallic Rebel (Metallic Cat x Sweet Abra x Abrakadabracre), owned by Tim and Lisa Guinn, has crossed two million dollars in offspring earnings.
Metallic Rebel established his own prowess in the cutting pen as the 2017 National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) Open Horse of the Year. He’s a member of the NCHA Horse Hall of Fame and is an NCHA World Champion, and he accumulated $438,000 in NCHA lifetime earnings.
“Reaching the $2 million mark as a cow horse sire is an extraordinary achievement for such a young sire,” shared Debbie Roberts of Spurs Equine Marketing. “Metallic Rebel's oldest competitors in the cow horse pen are only 6 years old, which underscores the exceptional talent he’s passing on to his offspring. The support from owners, breeders and trainers has elevated this milestone to a whole new level for us. We’re immensely grateful to own such a remarkable stallion and are eagerly anticipating what the future holds.”
Metallic Rebel’s highest-earning offspring include (earnings as of October 7, 2025,):
- ARA Rebel King (out of Never Reylinquish): $271,988.36.
- Spanish Nights (out of Lil Bit Reckless): $239,554.81.
- A Reyl Rebel (out of Never Reylinquish): $196,384.84.
“Congratulations to Metallic Rebel’s owners, Tim and Lisa Guinn,” said NRCHA Executive Director Emily Konkel. “This stallion marked the start of their cow horse journey, and we’re excited to see it continue on this path of success.”
