We welcome our newest affiliate, the Panhandle
Reined Cow Horse Association to our great group of
affiliates. It is based out of Canyon, Texas, in the South
Central Region and already has 4 shows planned for 2011 in
Lubbock, Tx, Clovis, NM , and Amarillo, TX. We would
encourage anyone in those areas to go and support this new
club.
As a reminder to all of you who put on shows in
your regions, we encourage you to pay particular attention
to Carri's list of important things to remember. One of the
biggest helps to the show and the judge is to have a
qualified bit checker. If you don't feel you have someone
who is qualified, or just can't find anyone to take that
job, be sure to let your judge know , so that the judge can
do the bit check.
We'd also like to offer the
affiliates an idea to help them raise some extra money, help
with the sponsorship of buckles for the NRCHA and to make
someone very happy. As you know, buckle sonsorships for the
NRCHA Derby and the Snaffle Bit Futurity are available. Each
sponsorship comes with certain perks during the Snaffle Bit
Futurity in Reno. If you as an affiliate chose to sponsor a
buckle, you could then raffle or sell the perks associated
with your sponsorship.For a $1000 sponsorship, Derby or SBF,
you recieve 2 VIP seats for the SBF, admission to the
sponsor lounge in the Doc Bar room, 2 tickets to the Hall of
Fame banquet, one parking pass and program, an invitation to
the VIP parties, and recogniton in the SBF program. For a
$750 Sponsorship , you recieve 2 VIP tickets to the SBF, one
parking pass and SBF program, admission to the Doc Bar
sponsors room, sponsored by Cinder Lakes Ranch, invitation
to VIP parties and recognition in the SBF program. As an
affiliate , you could choose to raffle off or sell the
tickets and sponsor package. If you would like more
information on these programs, please contact the NRCHA
office or myself.
